Three Days of Unforgettable American Punk Rock: Relive the Power!
Hello, punk rock enthusiasts! Get ready for an electrifying surprise – three extraordinary days filled with the raw energy of American hardcore punk rock that left us stunned. These concerts were more than just performances; they were emotional journeys, each one unique and equally incredible. And you know what? Two of these bands were completely new to me, adding an extra dose of excitement to the mix. In this post, I won’t mention the supporting bands that played before each headliner. I’ll focus on them in a separate post, my apologies.
Day 1: Energetic Takeover by MDC at New Cross INN
We kicked off our punk rock feast with the iconic MDC, who shook the stage at New Cross INN on August 1st, 2023. The recording of this exciting concert is now available on YouTube, bringing back unforgettable impressions.
The club was filled with energetic sound and quite a group of young punk rockers, which I love the most! that captured the hearts of everyone present. From classic hits to lesser-known ones, MDC presented a set that ignited the atmosphere to the point where there was no escaping intense pogoing and screaming lyrics in complete abandon 🙂
Whether you’re an MDC fan or just love the sounds of hardcore punk rock, you absolutely must watch it. The memories from this night will resonate forever.

Day 2: Gang Green’s Triumph in London at The Black Heart
Day 2 brought us the legendary Gang Green at The Black Heart in Camden, London on August 2nd, 2023.
Despite the band’s vocalist and founder still dealing with the aftermath of a stroke, their performance was filled with emotion. Their iconic hits, delivered in an energetic style, heated up the crowd, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Despite the distance and challenges, the band’s unwavering determination was visible as they electrified the stage; the performance was beautiful, and the band supported Chris wonderfully.
Overall, it was awesome, reflective, and personally, very exciting for me. After the concert, while signing a poster, Chris promised me that in 5 years, he’ll return to London not only as a vocalist but also as a guitarist. I’m rooting for you!
By the way, there were quite a few people who couldn’t understand why things were done this way and not differently, but I think few realized that they literally landed at Heathrow just a few hours before the concert… Huge respect, Chris! And great respect to your crew too!

Day 3: Back to New Cross Inn 🙂 Murphy’s Law’s Hardcore Domination at NXI
The grand finale of these 3 days brought us the hardcore punk rock energy of New York’s Murphy’s Law at NXI in London on August 3rd, 2023. Murphy’s Law delivered an explosive mix of their characteristic hits and anecdotes shared by Jimmy G., igniting laughter and spasms of joy, and the love for Jägermeister and other drinks really contributed to a sense of closeness and camaraderie that resonated in the devoted, intimate setting. With a dynamic handheld camera capturing every moment, this recording transports you to the electrifying atmosphere of the night.
